About Me

Lezla Gooden is a Maryland native and California-based Reporter, Journalist, Storyteller, On-Air reporter, Multi-Media Journalist, TV Host, and Voiceover Talent.

When she first graduated with her Masters from Georgetown University in 2016, she couldn’t have imagined that she’d one day have a combined 2.5 million views through broadcast television and social media platforms. 

She just knew that journalism held incredible responsibility, one that would allow her to inspire others while showcasing her unique vision and voice.

Since discovering her vision and voice, her work featured on CBS NEWS, ABC NEWS, ABC NEWS LIVE, Inside Edition, CNN, Washington Post, and Yahoo has showcased her dynamic art of storytelling through human interest pieces.

Lezla is an alumnus of Hampton University (B.A.), V.A., and Georgetown University (M.S), D.C. She currently resides in San Francisco C.A.
